Who are we?

The Heart of England Baptist Association (HEBA) is an Association of around 170 Baptist churches in Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, The Black Country, Staffordshire, Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire. Our purpose is to grow healthy churches by stimulating and assisting the region's Baptist churches for their God-given task of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. An overview of the values and vision of the Association can be read here.

Legally, the Association is a Charity Registered in England Number 1080529, and a Company Limited by Guarantee Number 238738. New Articles of Association and Rules were adopted in 2012 and can be downloaded below.

Rules - to be read in conjunction with the Articles

The Articles permit the Directors/Trustees to decide whether to hold and Annual General Meeting in a given year and this year they did not, though a Gathering of the churches was held in June at Warley Baptist Church.
