A Baptist minister who contributed to the development of the English language in the 18th Century has been honoured in a rare tribute.  A Pershore Civic Society Blue Plaque was unveiled outside the Pershore Baptist Church Manse on Saturday 1 October in honour of the Revd Dr John Ash.  John Ash served the church for 28 years between finishing his training in Bristol and his death in 1779.
