Take Care ... and know what you should be doing!

I consider myself to be reasonably handy when it comes to DIY.

Alan Pike

I can fit a bathroom or a kitchen and tile and decorate to a standard that is acceptable. I can service my car, fix the brakes change a gearbox or an engine ... but NEVER to the timescale I set for the task!

I once took 4½ years to complete a kitchen and finish the tiling and I can’t even remember when my wife agreed with my estimate for one of the decorating jobs.  Yes, I can do all these things, but these things are not always what I should be doing.

So, here is the challenge – how many of us are busy with “stuff” simply because we can?

How much time do we spend on things that rob those around us of our presence?

How many things have been left undone because we are busy?

Give God a call at Jeremiah 33.3:-

Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

Ask HIM what you are meant to be doing!
