The Strategic Forum, originally designed to exercise a visionary role, bringing together Group Representatives, Trustees, Regional Ministers and others has become rather obsolete of late because of new ways of working and communicating in the Association.

The new Articles and Rules proposed by the Trustees and available to read elsewhere on this site [here] do not make the holding of Strategic Forum meetings obligatory.

A recent Strategic Review of the Association has confirmed the need to develop new ways of seeking God's vision for this Association of churches.  You can read an abridged version of the Introduction and conclusions in the Strategic Review Report [here].
