Let’s Start Preaching

An exciting new 8 week programme to help those who feel called to a ministry of preaching

  • Entry level – no previous qualifications needed
  • No formal assignments, but plenty of opportunity to take part
  • Exploring a wide range of preaching styles, reflecting the diversity of HEBA
  • Guest input from experienced preachers among HEBA churches
  • 8 sessions on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. beginning on 30th April 2019 at City Road Baptist Church, City Road, Birmingham B16 0NE
    (no session on 28th May)
  • Cost for the whole course £80.00 per person

Programme for each week

  • 7:15 to 7:30 - Arrival, registration, coffee
  • 7:30 to 8:30 - Teaching and discussion on the topic of the day
  • 8:30 to 8:40 - Short break
  • 8:40 to 9:10 - Guest talks and guided evaluation (first 4 weeks), and then opportunity for mini talks from course participants with guided evaluation
  • 9:10 to 9:30 - Concluding teaching and resources for further reading and preparation
