​Plus 1% for Home Mission

The Home Mission Appeal is integral in enabling us to participate in God’s mission and helping to grow healthy churches. Churches are encouraged to give 5% to Home Mission, however, the Plus 1% Appeal is encouraged irrespective of what churches currently give. So, if Churches are giving 2%, we are appealing to consider an extra 1%. Just an extra 1% can make a huge difference.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 states God loves a cheerful giver. We kindly ask that if you ‘cheerfully’ feel led to, that you increase your giving by just 1%. There are many financial constraints impacting churches, but just 1% will leave little impact on the individual church whilst having a momentous impact when pooled together. As the body of Christ, we are called to lean on one another for God’s Kingdom work. The Plus 1% for Home Mission is all about doing it ‘together’. Together, we can invest in God’s mission across the UK. Will your church join us?

Giving from Churches enables various areas to thrive including:
National specialist teams: giving a voice in the public square, legal advice, safeguarding guidance, and practical help for growing healthy churches.
Regional Associations: resourcing ministers, supporting churches, and encouraging mission in every community.
Grant on the ground: planting new churches, pioneering fresh expressions of faith, supporting chaplaincies, and renewing existing congregations across the UK.

Please consider giving an extra 1% for Home Mission. Together, we can see even more lives transformed by Jesus.
